Mr. A Balasubramanian was designated as Chief Investment Officer of BSLAMC with effect from 1st January 2006. He has more than 16 years of experience in investment management, both in Equity & Fixed Income. Mr. Balasubramanian has been with BSLAMC since its inception. At BSLAMC, he has worked as Chief Dealer/Trader, Head of Fixed Income Funds and as National Head – Sales & Distribution. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he has worked with GIC Mutual Fund and Canbank Finance (Subsidiary of Canara Bank).
Mr. Argal has over 15 years of experience in Investments. Prior to joining BSLAMC on 14th December 2005, he has worked with UTI AMC and had handled various aspects of the Investments Function including equity funds, equity research and equity dealing. From 2001-2005 he was managing the Offshore Funds at UTI and was the Head of Offshore Funds.
Mr. Patil has a total of 14 years of experience and has been with BSLAMC since Sep’05. Prior to joining BSLAMC he has worked with Reliance Infocom Ltd. in Business Strategy and as a Senior Research Analyst with Motilal Oswal Securities and Parag Parikh Financial Advisory Services Ltd.
Mr. Chawla has over 13 years of experience in Equity Research. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he worked as Equity Research Analyst with SBI Capital Markets, Motilal Oswal Securities, IDBI Capital Markets, SMIFS Securities, IIT Invest Trust & Lloyds Securities.
Mr. Maloo, a B.Com and a Chartered Accountant, has around 4 years of experience. He has been providing analytical support to the Chief Financial Officer of Hindalco Industries Limited, prior to which he has worked with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Ltd. and M/s. D.K. Chajjer & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Mr. Penkar, a B.E in Mechanical Engineering and an M.M.S, has over 6 years of experience. He has worked in Equity M.M.S. Research function in Emkay Shares & Stock Brokers, Hathway Investments Pvt. Ltd. and Iden Investments Pvt. Ltd.
Ankit Sancheti, a C. A and B.Com (Hons.) has an experience of over 8 years in equity research and fund management. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he was working with ING Investment Management (I) Pvt. Ltd. as Fund Manager. He has also worked with BSLAMC, Developments Credit Bank and Anand Rathi Securities.
Mr. Dangi has a total of 7 years of experience and has been with BSLAMC since January 2006. Prior to joining BSLAMC he has worked with Pioneer investcorp as a head of fixed-income investment consultancy and merchant banking division. He manages fixed income funds at BSLAMC.
Satyabrata Mohanty is a Fund Manager with a total work experience of around 9 years. He has been with BSLAMC since December 2000. In BSLAMC he has experience in Fund Management, Trading and Credit Research. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he has worked with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Ltd. Mr. Satyabrata Mohanty is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA charter holder.
Sunaina has over 4 years of experience in credit evaluation and research. Prior to joining BSLAMC, she worked with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Ltd as Group Management Trainee
Mr. Prasad Dhonde – Fund Manager (Debt)
Mr. Dhonde has an experience of over 9 years in Financial Services Sector. Prior to joining BSLAMC, he has worked with Credit Analysis & Research Ltd., Times Investors Services Pvt. Limited, Birla Sun Life Securities Ltd., RR Financial Consultants Ltd. & Probity Research & Services Private Ltd. He is an MBA (Finance) from JBIMS, Mumbai and B.Sc. (Tech) in chemical technology from UDCT.
